Parking in Downtown St. Augustine

St. Augustine was founded in 1565, and its historic city layout was designed for pedestrians, making parking limited in the downtown area. Many streets are narrow, one-way, and feature overhanging balconies, so parking availability may vary.

Parking Options

• Metered Parking:

  • Available one block from the main entrance at Granada Street, behind the Lightner Museum.
  • Enforced Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (excluding national holidays).

• Historic Downtown Parking Facility:

  • 📍 10 S. Castillo Drive
  • Open 24/7, year-round.
  • Convenient to St. George Street, San Marco Avenue, and Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.

• Bus Parking:

  • Located adjacent to the Historic Downtown Parking Facility at the corner of W. Castillo Drive and Riberia Street.

We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking and walking to the tour departure location.
