Flagler College offers more tours during holiday season   December 11, 2015 2:11 PM Historical tours of Flagler College’s Hotel Ponce de Leon will be expanding its tour schedule for the holidays, and will run on the hour beginning Monday, Dec. 14. The expanded schedule will last until Jan. 3, 2016. Tour times will be at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. and last approximately an hour. Gilded Age Fashion Exhibit

Come explore the Gilded Age through the Historic Tours of Flagler College.  While touring the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, built by Henry Flagler in 1888, you will explore the dinning hall ringed with Tiffany stained glass windows, our recently renovated courtyard, and the Grand Parlor room which currently features our Gilded Age Fashion Collection.  This exhibit features 7 detailed Gilded Age outfits from the late 1900 century and can only be seen as part of the historic tours. Preservation team restores Ponce de Leon Hall's exterior to its original beauty

What is Flagler's Legacy?

Flagler's Legacy, along with Historic Tours of Flagler College, were created by Enactus, a student organization formerly known as Students in Free Enterprise. Donna Delorenzo, Executive Director of College Relations at Flagler College and Sam Walton Free Enterprise Fellow, and Enactus saw the potential for a thriving retail business. In the summer of 1999, Enactus students opened a small shop in the Rotunda of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon to start selling a few historic souvenirs and began charging for guided tours of the College.
